Looks like the correct syntax is:

*.php = svn:keywords=Date Author Id Copyright Revision License URL

And not:

*.php = svn:keywords:Date Author Id Copyright Revision License URL

Not the “=” instead of “:”

Hi all,
Could you please let me know which keyword I can use for populating the Commit messages in my file header.
One more thing I need to know is there any way i can populate the header in already exiting SVN file. As currently I am able to populate the header with these value in new file. Not in exiting checked-in file.

I just can’t get it working…. so could you please confirm the following:
– this works with default svn server and default client that comes with that server
– if you change Copyright property value on some file, it will also change in that files contents

hi, have you tried to host your svn server and then accomplish this ? and can you confirm that ?
it seems that google has patched svn to support this…

I use Cornerstone for Mac and I post to the Google Code repository.

Yes, I did both operation (commit and update). Changes for “standard” svn keywords are in place after “commit”. I did tests with 2 svn repositories:
- Collab.net (homeland for svn)
- xp-dev.com (free)

Do you remember which svn repository and client did you use exactly?
